Many thanks to Craig Holstine, the Washington State DOT historian for recognizing and identifying my photo. He writes:The attached photo shows the East 34th St. Bridge between B and D Streets in Tacoma. Built in 1948 by Guy F. Atkinson of San Francisco, the concrete structure has a total length of 563 feet. The 287-foot open spandrel, twin-ribbed arch rises 83 feet above State Route 7 just south of Interstate 5. The arch span is flanked by three 42-foot girder spans on its west approach, and three 42-foot and one 24-foot girder spans on its east approach. Tacoma city engineers designed the bridge.

Beautiful photograph!! This is one of my favorite bridges (but hard to photograph when you don't have a car!). Thank you. Currently, they are renaming it to the 'Harold G. Moss Bridge'...but does it really need to be renamed? Also, Wikiwand has a not-so-nice image that should be replaced...would you consider sending yours in? Lol, sorry for the overload. :)
