|May 2010 (38.80232 Degrees, -121.71991 Degrees) Knights Landing Bridge|
We've previously studied the Knights Landing Bridge (22 0040) in 2010 when we were looking at movable bridges. It was built in 1933 by Rocca and Caletti of San Rafael and designed by Edward Von Geldern. It's a riveted Warren railing height truss, which means the top chord of the truss acts as barrier rails. The bridge is 407 ft long and includes steel stringer approach spans and a double leaf bascule main span.
