San Joaquin County, California Bridges: Eight Mile Road Bridge across Bishop Cut

April 2014 (38.05778 Degrees-121.41778 Degrees ) Eight Mile Road Bridge
A little east of yesterday's Eight Mile Road Bridge is a second Eight Mile Road Bridge (29C0114) across Bishop Cut. This bridge is a less dramatic structure, a 46 ft long steel girder swing bridge with slab approaches. It wasn't built until 1989, which suggests that Bishop Cut was also recently dredged.
