1987 (37.818 deg, -122.478 deg.) Golden Gate Bridge A photo (taken 24 years ago) of my oldest daughter standing on the deck of the Golden Gate Bridge. The modular deck and sidewalk were laid onto the floor beams about a year earlier. The sidewalk looks different today because of all the bicyclists and because they put a tall rail between the sidewalks and the roadway. There are also elaborate rules about when bicyclists and pedestrians can use the east and west sidewalks. |
