That overbridge at Railway Square ".... opened the same day as the main railway in 1855 and is the oldest piece of railway infrastructure remaining in NSW and the only known feature built by the original Sydney Railway Company." That bridge stretches from Central station under Lee, Regent and George Streets and is now known as The Goods Line.

The bridge depicted is actually 300-400m north of Railway Square. The bridge (depicted) is commonly called the Eddy Avenue Underbridge and it was erected in 1923 - hardly making it the "oldest piece of railway infrastructure remaining in NSW." The 1923 underbridges (of which there are three) were all completed in 1923 and connected Central with the newly established City Circle line.

Sources:
https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/heritageapp/ViewHeritageItemDetails.aspx?ID=5012153
https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/heritageapp/ViewHeritageItemDetails.aspx?ID=4801296sydneyredheadnoreply@blogger.com
